BELLBROOK — The Bellbrook-Sugarcreek Park District recently took advantage of the artic temperatures by hosting an impromptu water experiment program at the Community Center.
In honor of school being cancelled on Tuesday, Jan. 28, children of all ages were able to try out four activities to prove it’s really cold outside! They used the frigid temps to instantly freeze boiling water, crystalize bubbles, throw ice bombs (water balloons), and see extra-large ice marbles.
In between the freezing experiments the families enjoyed hot chocolate and cookies while warming up in the banquet room. Approximately 40 participants attended the free event.
