New Song Fellowship to install new ministers

FAIRBORN — New Song Fellowship will be celebrating the installation of their new pastors, Reverends Chad and Debbie Vickers 4 p.m. Sunday, Feb. 9 at 2709 Old Yellow Springs Road. Everyone in the community is invited to join in the celebration. A reception will be held at the church following the service.

Pastors Chad and Debbie Vickers are both ordained Church of God, Anderson, Ind., ministers and will be serving as co-pastors of New Song Fellowship.

Pastor Chad, originally from West Virginia, graduated from West Virginia State University and earned his Master’s of Ministry degree from Mount Vernon Nazarene University. He is currently serving as a chaplain with Crossroads Hospice. Pastor Debbie, from Springfield, Ohio, earned a Music and Bible Degree from Mid-America Christian University and has done graduate work at Olivet Nazarene University. Reverends Chad & Debbie have served in several churches and parachurch organizations, most recently serving with an inner city ministry at Clifton Ave. Church of God in Springfield.

Pastor Chad has a gift for relating to people in all walks of life and is passionate about, “Not going to church, but being the church” meaning letting Christ live through us everywhere we go, in the church building, the workplace, the neighborhood … everywhere. Pastor Debbie is enthusiastic about teaching people to fall in love with Jesus and sharing that love with everyone in their sphere of influence. She really enjoys helping people develop the gifts and talents God has given them for His glory.

Chad and Debbie have been married 10 years and have an 8-year-old daughter Corrie and they have been serving Jesus together ever since.
