XENIA — Join Greene County Parks & Trails for the on-going Sportsman’s Seminar Series featuring local outdoor professionals and other regional experts that provide the latest information on fishing, boating, hunting and other sporting topics.
Learn about “Boating Rules of the (Water) Road” at 7 p.m. Tuesday, May 6, in the Greene County Media Room, 541 Ledbetter Road. Join the experts from the Dayton Sail and Power Squadron to hear the latest information on correctly and safely navigating on the water.
“With the recent tragedy at Shawnee Lake in Jamestown,” said Greene County Parks & Trails Chief Ranger-Operations Director Chuck Frazier, “it brings home the importance of safety on the water. Even if you are an experienced water enthusiast, wearing the appropriate safety gear is vital for all of us. I urge everyone to come and learn the latest safety techniques before heading out on the water this year.”
All seminars are free and open to the public. For more information about any Greene County Parks & Trails program call 937-562-6440 or email firstname.lastname@example.org.
