XENIA — Myrna and Dick Aikins of Xenia will celebrate 30 years of marriage on Tuesday, Dec. 13.
The young couple wed at Zion Temple of Deliverance in Spring Valley on Dec. 13, 1986. In the years following, the Aikins raised two daughters, Asia and Sarah; three dogs, Scottie, Toya and Shadow; one cat, Choco. Family members include: Asia, Scott, Kelsey and Brooklyn Kellner; and Sarah, Adrianne, Sophia and Jaxson.
In more than 30 years, Myrna and Dick have survived many struggles and shared many triumphs. They enjoy the outdoors, watching the Reds, Bengals and Buckeyes, exploring new places and visiting Florida.
