XENIA — Peterson & Peterson, LLC, a general practice law firm, has served the residents of Greene County and surrounding area for nearly 60 years.
The firm was established in 1950 by John G. Peterson, who was joined in 1955 by his brother, Marshall E. Peterson. Both men were former Greene County prosecutors and presidents of the Greene County Bar Association. David S. Peterson, the son of Marshall Peterson, joined the firm in 1984.
In addition to David Peterson, the firm now consists of attorneys Justin C. Nidiffer, John M. Leahy, and Thomas W. Simms and a team of three secretaries and administrative personnel who work together to provide expert legal services for the firm’s clients. Peterson & Peterson has a high regard for its clients and works together to exceed their expectations in every case possible.
Peterson & Peterson serves its clients with a variety of services, including personal injury/wrongful death, worker’s compensation, felony and misdemeanor defense, adoption, divorce, DUI and other traffic cases, and civil matters including contract review and preparation and collections. The firm also provides probate and real estate services, including wills and living trusts, estates, deeds/mortgages, estate planning evictions and foreclosure representation.

Peterson & Peterson was located originally on North Detroit Street in Xenia. In 2000 the firm constructed a new building at 87 S. Progress Drive. The firm and its employees are active in both professional organizations and civic affairs. David Peterson is a former president of the Greene County Bar Association and Miami Valley Trial Lawyers Association.
