At a recent meeting of the Kiwanis Club of Xenia by YMCA childcare director Samantha Bates and sports coordinator Marina Lyons presented information about the many programs that are available for children. Summer camp will be held 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. at Legacy Christian Academy this summer. Before care is available at the Y 6:30-8:30 a.m. and After care is available 4-6 p.m. The program is available for up to 60 children and includes field trips for the students. Sports programs offered this summer for ages 3-13 including volleyball, basketball, and indoor soccer. The Y also received a grant that will offer free swimming lessons to area children.
