XENIA — Robert “Tucker” Cross celebrated his 95th birthday at his home with his family July 19. He was born in Xenia in 1920 and was married to his wife Leona (Toni) for 68 years. He served in the United States Army Air Corp during World War II from 1942-1946. He was the owner of Cross’ Citgo Service Station on the corner of Main and Galloway prior to the 1974 Xenia tornado. He then worked for Greene County as a mechanic until he retired in 1983.
