XENIA — Harold and Louanne (Smith) Boat celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary June 26.

The couple was married in 1965 at First Presbyterian Church of Xenia. Harold Boat is retired from Wright-Patterson Air Force Base and enjoys model railroading, HAM radio and music.

Louanne Boat is retired from Xenia Community Schools and enjoys music, reading and gardening.

The couple will have a formal celebration with family at a later date.
