Teresa Cardenas, an honor student at the Ohio State University, recently spoke to the Kiwanis Club of Xenia about a six-week study abroad program in England in which she participated. Cardenas was primarily in the United Kingdom, but she had the opportunity to visit eight countries and have the opportunity to not only learn history, but learn the cultures of the countries and experience contact with the people in the countries during her time abroad. Cardenas’ mother, Janean, a Kiwanis member, introduced her daughter.
