FAIRBORN — The Professional Bull Riders Real Time Pain Relief Velocity Tour is coming to the Wright State University Nutter Center on Feb. 18, 2017 and it promises to be thrilling, adrenaline-filled, edge-of-your seat excitement.

It will be the Velocity Tour’s second consecutive trip to the Dayton area, after a successful debut in 2016.

For one night, some of the best bull riders in the world will battle the sport’s toughest bovine athletes. The thrilling eight-second rides and heart-stopping wrecks make the PBR’s Velocity Tour an exciting live sporting events to see.

The bull riding action begins at 7 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 18. Tickets, ranging in price from $15 to $150, are on sale now. They available at the Nutter Center box office, online at www.ticketmaster.com, and by phone at 800-745-3000.

PBR Elite Seats, which are available, are a $150 ticket that includes premium seating and a 60 minute pre-event tour that will allow fans to step out on the dirt and behind the scenes to take in everything that goes into putting on the Real Time Pain Relief Velocity Tour.

Elite Seat holders will also be given the opportunity to go one-on-one with world Ccampion-caliber bull riders as well as some of the fiercest bucking bulls in the sport. One of those elite bucking bovines will also be loaded into the chutes for fans to get an idea of what it’s like to be a Professional Bull Rider standing on the chutes looking down at their bull.

Each rider will face one bull in round one with the top 10 scoring riders of the night moving on to one more ride in the championship round. At the end of the competition, the rider with the highest combined score will be crowned the champion.

Last year’s event was won by Brazilian rider Juliano Antonio da Silva.

Fairborn will be the 12-stop on the 2017 Velocity Tour, which spans the country in cities including Oakland, Calif.; Portland, Ore.; Milwaukee, Wis.; Bangor, Maine and Birmingham, Ala..

The 2017 Real Time Pain Relief Velocity Tour will culminate with the Velocity Tour Finals at South Point Arena in Las Vegas on Oct. 28-30, leading into the PBR’s 2017 Built Ford Tough World Finals. The winner of the Velocity Tour Finals, the second- and third-place finishers and the top international performer, along with the 2017 Velocity Tour Champion, will each qualify to compete at the PBR World Finals.
