FAIRBORN — Fairborn firefighters responded to a car fire Sunday, Nov. 27 and found a body inside the vehicle.

Police were called to the 1100 block of Kauffman Avenue around 4:45 a.m. When they arrived, the found the vehicle, a 2001 Volkswagen Jetta, fully engulfed. After extinguishing the flames, they found the body in the driver’s seat of the car.

The identity of the victim is not known as of press time. The incident is under investigation.
