XENIA — A suspect was taken into custody after a robbery at the Honk-n-Holler on North Detroit Street Thursday morning.

According to Xenia Police Division Captain Alonzo Wilson, the suspect entered the business shortly after it opened and demanded cash from the clerk. The clerk complied with the robber’s demands, according to Wilson, and then called 911 after the suspect fled from the business.

A suspect matching the description was located a short distance away from the robbery and taken into custody without incident. Police are still investigating the robbery and have not charged anyone at this time.
