Commissioners elect Glaser as president

XENIA — The Greene County Commissioners elected Commissioner Bob Glaser as their new president Monday morning during the annual re-organizational meeting.

Commissioner Tom Koogler was elected vice president.

Meeting days and times remain the same. The commissioners meet every Thursday at 1 p.m. at 35 Greene St. Meetings are open to the public.

Public hearings will also continue to be held the first Tuesday of every month at 6:30 p.m.

The board also approved appointment to the slate of eighteen boards and committees. The listing is as follows: EMA Committee, RPCC, Data Processing Board, Alternate to Data Processing, Microfilming Board, Alternate to Microfilming Board, Board of Revision, Local Corrections Planning Board, Work Force Policy Board, MVRPC, MVRPC Alternate, MVRPC Technical Advisory Committee, MVRPC TAC Alternate, Dayton Development Coalition, MGCLERC, CCAO Representative, CCAO Alternate Representative, Solid Waste Policy Committee.

A regular meeting will be held this Thursday.
