CEDARVILLE — The Cedarville University Department of Art, Design, and Theatre recently opened its Senior VisComm Exhibition to feature the work of senior visual communication design majors.

The exhibition is on display in the Stevens Student Center through Monday, March 13.

“This exhibition provides the university family an opportunity to see the variety and professional-caliber of our students’ projects,” said Aaron Gosser, associate professor of art. “On the other hand, exhibition opportunities for studio art students and their work is absolutely vital to both the nature of the work and the presentation of its intended dialogue.”

“I came into the design program as a scared freshman who had never taken art classes in her life,” said Esther Jones, a senior visual communication design student from New Carlisle. “Seeing the seniors setting up their show, I remember being amazed at their designs. It seemed impossible that one day I would be that senior, showing off my work. Now the time has arrived, and I look back and thank the Lord for His hand of guidance on my life. The end of my college career is just the beginning of serving the Lord in the professional design field.”
