CEDARVILLE — Fran DeWine, wife of Ohio Attorney General Mike DeWine spent June 7 with friends and family making pies for their annual Old Fashioned Ice Cream Social, Sunday, June 25.

When they finished, the group made 150 pies including 35 strawberry-rhubarb, 30 apple and several blueberry, cherry, black raspberry, peach and mixed berry pies.

The ice cream social runs 1-5 p.m. at the DeWine’s home on Conley Road. In addition to ice cream and pie, there will be live entertainment, and games for kids. The event has been held since 1976.
