Reenactor William “Rusty” Cottrel — or “Chief Black Hoof” — speaks to Greene County residents July 8 about the role of Tecumseh and the Shawnee Tribe in shaping the history of Greene County and Canada. This event at Old Town Reserve County Park continued the celebration of Tecumseh-Canada Day, which the Greene County Commissioners proclaimed as July 1. Pictures of this event will be placed in the Canada 150 time capsule to be buried in Ontario and opened in 2117.
