BEAVERCREEK — Beavercreek police are investigating sex offenses that were recently reported at Pristine Senior Living.

According to a police report, a Pristine Senior Living administrator reported the incident July 17 to the Beavercreek Police Department.

“An issue came to our attention regarding one of our employees which caused us to contact law enforcement,” a nursing home spokesperson wrote in an emailed statement. “We are not aware of any of our residents being identified as victims of abuse.”

The two reported offenses were gross sexual imposition, a third-degree felony and pandering obscenity involving a minor, a fourth-degree felony.

The incident allegedly took place at Pristine Senior Living, as stated on the police report. The report also listed an iPhone as property involved in the case.

Captain Chad Lindsey, division commander, said the police department is not releasing a lot of information as the investigation is still active.

The spokesperson for Pristine Senior Living said the nursing home is conducting an internal investigation in addition to cooperating with law enforcement on the matter.

Their statement also reads, “The safety and well-being of residents and patients at our facility is our number one priority. We carefully screen all employees, including conducting detailed background checks, and we provide on-going training to employees to ensure that they provide the highest quality of care.”
