Foundation holding third Halloween Run

XENIA — The Xenia Community Schools Foundation is holding its 3rd Annual Healthy Halloween Hustle.

The health–focused fun event takes place 9 a.m. Saturday, Oct. 21 at Shawnee Park. All pre-registered participants will receive a long sleeve T-shirt with the event logo. Registration fees are $15 for adults and $10 for students K-12. Children under 5 are welcome to participate in the one mile Fun Run and will receive a participation ribbon and a pumpkin. Online registration is also available at xcsfoundation.com.

Several levels of sponsorship are available, including individual sponsorships at $50. Corporate sponsorships begin at $100. Sponsor names will appear on the event shirt. Information about sponsorships is available on the Xenia Area Chamber of Commerce website.

Registration and sponsorship information will be available at the Xenia Community Festival Sept. 15-16.

This fundraiser for the Xenia Community Schools Grant Program is a joint effort between the XCS and the Xenia Community Schools Foundation. Xenia Community Schools Foundation is an Ohio non-profit 501(C) (3) corporation. Gifts made to the XCSF qualify as tax deductible charitable contributions. The XCSF’s purpose, among others, is to seek funding to be used for the benefit of faculty and students by embracing or going beyond the usual.
