Shawnee Elementary School held a walk-a-thon Sept. 29 to raise funds for the PTO. Students received prizes for reaching certain donation levels. The kids walked from the school to Shawnee Park, around the park, and back to the school on the bike path. Each class had a different dress-up theme. Molly Prindle’s second grade students were pumpkins.
