Greeneview middle names students of month

JAMESTOWN — Greeneview Middle School recently announced its October students of the month.

Recognized were Carlos Rodriguez (eighth grade), Rebecca Smith (seventh grade), Taylor Warner (sixth grade), and Temperance Hoke (fifth grade).

Rodriguez is a hard worker, always does his homework and does really well in class, according to information from the school. He is a responsible student who also works well with others. He is always pleasant in class and is a great addition to Greeneview Middle School.

Smith is an extremely hard worker who goes the extra mile when completing assignments and helping out in class, the school said. She actively participates and always volunteers to help. She is an all around great student.

Warner embodies Greeneview’s student values, her teachers said. She is kind, helpful, responsible and hard working. Many times, Warner will volunteer to help the teacher with classroom tasks or help other students. Whenever she doesn’t have work of her own to complete, she will seek out ways to help others. She is an exceptional student, friend and person.

Hoke is an excellent student and role model, according to her teachers. She completes all work on time with attention to detail. She is a conscientious student who shows compassion towards other students. She participates in classroom activities and is always prepared for class. She has a great heart and shows kindness on a regular basis. Hoke has a fun sense of humor and makes our class a better place.
