XENIA — Two dozen Xenia businesses will be participating in Small Business Saturday Nov. 25.

Small Business Saturday is a nation-wide event geared at getting shoppers to spend their money at locally owned businesses instead of the big, national chain retail stores.

The following stores are participating: Xenia Shoe & Leather, Wickline’s Florist & Garden Center, Los Mariachis, Orchard Lane Events, Our Family Soap, X*ACT Whistle Stop Opry, Country Blessings Gifts & More, Sweets Boutique Bakery, Mary’s Odd’s & End, Coffee Hub, Tables of Contents, Blue Jacket Books, Gypsy Alley Boutique, The Flower Stop, Rusty N Chippy’s Vintage Boutique, Loan Star Pawn Shop, Yellow Dog Pet Supply, Associated Insurance Agencies, John Zeller, Tiffany Jewelers, Inc., Montgomery Insurance & Investments, Live Gracefully Dance Studio, Joe Kennedy Real Estate, and WBZI Classic Country Radio.

Shopping local will also allow shoppers to win a basket of goodies from all the participants.

Pick up a flyer at any participating store or use the one in the Xenia Daily Gazette on Thanksgiving day. Shop Nov. 25 and collect 10 out of 22 stamps from the businesses listed, turn in your flyer with the stamps at your last business stop and then winners will be contacted the following week. Stop by Stop by Country Blessings to see the basket in person.
