Dogs enjoy Canine ‘Character’ Christmas

XENIA — Owners and their favorite four-footed friends chose a holiday character to pose with during Greene County Parks and Trails’ Canine “Character” Christmas Saturday at James Ranch Park.

Santa Claus was joined by “The Grinch” and “The Holiday Hippo”. Event sponsor betterImages provided a variety of photo packages if desired. Patrons also took their own photographs.

The event was staged within a 1800s brick home in front of the original fireplace at the park.

All proceeds raised from the annual event benefit the Scout Dog Park in Xenia, which was the first public dog park in Greene County. With funds raised from canine special events, GCP&T has added a third paddock and a canine playscape as an additional feature.

For more information about GCP&T, call 937-562-6440, email [email protected] or visit www.gcparkstrails.com.
