JAMESTOWN — Xenia Daily Gazette and Fairborn Daily Herald outdoor writer Larry Moore of Jamestown placed second at the Outdoor Writers of Ohio Awards recently.

He received second place for Best Outdoor Newspaper Column.

Moore has been writing for his hometown newspapers for more than a decade. His monthly column is popular among outdoorsmen in Greene County.
