CEDARVILLE — In less than six months, significant progress on both the renovation of the former Cedarville Hardware Store and the business plan for the new Cedar Care Village Pharmacy has been made, and the grand opening is right around the corner.

The public will have two opportunities to preview the brand new pharmacy in the next few months. Wednesday, Oct. 31, Cedarville Beggar’s Night, the community will be able to stop by for a sweet treat and a sneak peak of the interior. Saturday, Dec. 1, during the Cedarville Little Town of Lights, the store will be open to the public and selling Cedarville High School and Cedarville University merchandise. The grand opening of Cedar Care is scheduled for Wednesday, Jan. 2, 2019.

Cedar Care will take all major insurance providers and also offer services including curbside pickup, home delivery, and the option to individually consult with a pharmacist. Under the leadership of full-time licensed pharmacist Jeb Ballentine, the new pharmacy will serve the community of Cedarville and the surrounding area while also functioning as a teaching pharmacy for the pharmacy students at Cedarville University.
