XENIA — The westbound lane of U.S. Route 35 between U.S. Route 42 and Lower Bellbrook Road will be closed through Wednesday afternoon for pavement repair, according to the Ohio Department of Transportation. An ODOT estimate put the re-opening time at about 3:30 p.m. Dec. 9.

Traffic will be maintained during construction and delays may occur.

Arrow boards and/or signs will be in place prior to the work zone to alert motorists of the lane closure.

To help ensure the safety of the construction workers as well as the traveling public, motorists should remain alert, reduce their speed and watch for stopped traffic while passing through the work zone.
