XENIAPrograms for people of all ages are being planned at the Xenia Community Library, 76 E. Market St. for January. Some programs require registration call 937-352-4000.

ABC & Me Story Time Ages 3-6 with adult, 1-1:45 p.m. Mondays, Jan. 4, 11, 18, 25.

Toddler Story Time Ages 2-3 with adult, 10:30-11 a.m. Tuesdays, Jan. 5, 12, 19, 26.

Preschool Story Time Ages 4-5, 10:30-11 a.m. Tuesdays, Jan. 5, 12, 19, 26.

Early Bookworm Readers Grades K-3, 6-6:45 p.m. Tuesday, Jan. 5. Build reading skills by joining us for a book discussion and activity. Ask staff for this month’s title.

Geromino Stilton Day, 4-4:45 p.m. Wednesday, Jan. 6. Calling all Geromino and Thea fans. Join the library for fabumouse fun and games based on Geronimo Stilton series of books.

Book Tasting, 12-1 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 7. Bring a lunch and a favorite book or two. Have lunch together and talk about what we’re reading.

LEGO Day for Ages 10-18, 4-4:45 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 7. Build a story from one of your favorite books or would you prefer to build a building or city? Spend an afternoon with friends creating something.

Xenia Book Club, 10:15-11:30 a.m. Friday, Jan. 8. Come to a book discussion.

Baby Story Time Ages 6-24 months, 10:30-11 a.m. Fridays, Jan. 8, 15, 22, 29.

Paper Filigree Snowflakes Class, 5:30-7:30 p.m. Monday, Jan. 11. Snowflakes are a sure sign winter is coming. Join the fun as we create beautiful paper filigree snowflakes that can be used as an ornament or attached to a plague or box. Registration required.

Make a Sock Snowman Ages 5 and up, 4-4:45 p.m. Tuesday, Jan. 12. Create a cute snowman from a white sock filled with rice.

Quirky Birthday Card Class, 5:30-7:30 p.m. Wednesday, Jan. 13. Join the library staff to make several quirky birthday cars for the quirky people in your life. Registration required.

Game Day for Ages 10-18, 4-4:45 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 14. Board games or a Wii? What will we play today?

Board Game Night forAdults, 6:30-7:30 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 14. Game night isn’t just for kids anymore. On hand to play will be Scrabble, Monopoly, Ticket to Ride, and a few more. Bring your own games.

LEGO StoryStarters Ages 7-12, 4-5 p.m. Monday, Jan. 18. Work in groups to write a story, illustrate it with LEGO, and publish it using Lego StoryStarter on the iPad. Registration required.

Recycled Robots, 3:30-4:30 p.m. Wednesday, Jan. 20. Drop in and build a robot figure from a variety of recycled materials.

Paper Airplane Challenge for Ages 10-18, 4-4:45 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 21. Pick a paper airplane design, built your plane, and fly it. At the end we’ll compete to see whose plane can fly the farthest.

Writer’s Group, 6-7 p.m. Tuesday, Jan. 26. A group for adult writers 18 years and older to share and discuss their work. Group will be moderated by Xenia author Ryan Ireland.

Marshmallow Snowmen for Ages 10-18, 4-4:45 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 28. Use the provided ingredients to “build a snowman” no snow required.
