Republican candidates forum planned

CEDARVILLE — Cedarville University will host a Republican candidates forum 7 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 4 in the Center for Biblical and Theological Studies.

Republican candidates for the United States Senate, Ohio Supreme Court justice, State Senate 10th District, State House 74th District, State Central Committee and Greene County Board of Commissioners have been invited to speak. There will be an opportunity for audience members to ask questions and meet candidates as well.

Dr. Mark Smith, assistant professor of political science and director of the the Center for Political Studies at Cedarville University, will serve as moderator for the forum.

The forum — to be held in room 104 — is sponsored by the Cedarville Republican Club, Cedarville University College Republicans and the Xenia Republican Women’s Club.
