BEAVERCREEK — Greene County Parks & Trails will host a three talks in upcoming months as part of its “Winter Speaker Series.” All sessions will begin at 10 a.m. at the Narrows Reserve Nature Center, 2575 Indian Ripple Road, Beavercreek.

Food and Pollinators on Saturday, Feb. 27. Learn about the beneficial role played by insects and their connection to pollinating food grown in Greene County.

Honeybees in Peril on Saturday, March 10. Master Bee Keeper Bill Starrett will share the challenges facing the honeybee population and how local residents can support bees in Greene County.

Gardening for Pollinators on Saturday, April 23. Learn what to plant in a garden to support monarch butterflies, spicebush swallowtail butterflies and many moths native to Greene County.
