Hospitality Center seminar set
XENIA — Hospitality Center in Xenia will hold its free monthly seminar 9:30 a.m. Tuesday, May 31. Judy Baker, executive director of the Xenia Adult Recreation and Services Center, will speak about community and senior services. RSVP to Erin Durham at 937-205-2656.
Road closure
XENIA TOWNSHIP — Brush Row Road in Xenia Township will be closed Tuesday, May 31, and on Friday, June 3, for a culvert replacement. The closure will be between Stevenson Road and Garcia Drive. Drivers are advised to seek alternate routes during the closures. The closures are subject to weather conditions.
Culvert replacement
SUGARCREEK TOWNSHIP — Culvert No. 1.01 on Wagner Road in Sugarcreek Township will be closed for approximately two days beginning June 6 for culvert replacement. The closure will be between Land Drive and Swigart Road. The closure is subject to weather conditions.
Naturalist volunteer training
BEAVERCREEK — Anyone interested in volunteering with Greene County Parks & Trails is invited to attend as a guest at one of the volunteer training sessions sponsored by the park agency. The sessions will be held from 9 a.m. to noon at the Narrows Reserve Nature Center, 2595 Indian Ripple Road.

FAIRBORN — The Osborn Historic District Garden Club is showcasing gardens in the historic Osborn District and other select areas of Fairborn. Enjoy a variety of gardens including meditation, perennial, vegetable, miniature, an apartment garden and hidden backyard gardens. The tours run from 10 a.m. – 5 p.m. Saturday, June 25. Zoning commission
SPRING VALLEY TOWNSHIP – The Spring Valley Township Zoning Commission has scheduled meetings for 2016. They will be held 6 p.m. Tuesdays July 5 and Oct. 4 at the Spring Valley Township Office, 2547 US 42 South, Spring Valley. All meetings are open to the public.
