DAYTON — The Interfaith Forum of Greater Dayton will present a program by Dr. John Quinn, Professor Emeritus of Philosophy at the University of Dayton 3-5 p.m. Feb. 23 at Christ United Methodist Church, 3440 Shroyer Road in Foster Hall, located on north end of the third floor.

The topic of this presentation will be, “The Meaning and Relevance of Mysticism in the Christian Tradition.” Dr. Quinn has had a Lifelong interest in Christian Mysticism, defined as the direct experience of God, in contrast to following ritual and tradition without thinking about what they mean.

This program is the first in a series that will include Muslim, Jewish and Bahai perspectives on Mysticism. If you would like to bring a treat to share, please do not include any pork or shellfish products.
