DAYTON — The Ohio Federation of Mothers of Twins Club (OFMOTC) recently held its 65th Convention in Strongsville. The OFMOTC installs new officers each year as well as announces a Mother of the Year selected by judges not involved with OFMOTC.
This year, Dayton’s own Evelyn Berry was crowned as the 2014 OFMOTC Mother of the Year.
Dayton Mothers of Twins Club (DMOTC) also took first place in the best costume contest as each local club that makes up the state organization randomly drew for the rock and roll band or entertainer their club was to represent. Dayton drew the Temptations and, with supplies purchased at Foy’s Stores, along with some creative dance moves, they pulled off the win.
Katie Lewallen was also installed as the President of OFMOTC. The OFMOTC is a non-profit organization that supports mothers of multiples throuhout Ohio. DMOTC supports mothers of multiples locally in the Miami Valley.
