Learn about living wills and more at Women in Business luncheon
XENIA — The start of a new year is a perfect time to think about the future. At the January Women in Business Luncheon, Becky Baker of Friends Care Community will be on hand to discuss the importance of being prepared legally for the futures of families.
“We are going to discuss Powers of Attorney and Living Wills,” Baker said of the discussion. “It is so important to be prepared for the future. We never know what the future holds for us.”
The Luncheon will be at 11:30 a.m. Thursday, Jan. 2 at the Xenia YMCA and offers a comfortable way to ease back into business life after the Holidays.

Baker has been working with Senior Living Communities in sales and marketing for 24 years. She currently is the Admissions and Marketing Director for Friends Care Community in Yellow Springs. She coordinates the move-ins for the Nursing Center, Assisted Living, Rehabilitation Unit and the Independent Living homes. She is also responsible for the website, advertising and marketing of the community. Baker loves working with seniors and assisting them in their care needs.
Baker and her husband, Gene will celebrate their 30-year Anniversary on New Year’s Eve. They have two children, Kyle and Stephanie.
Women in Business meets the first Thursday of every month at 11:30 a.m. for lunch at the YMCA, 135 E. Church St. The luncheon by Marilyn’s Country Meals will be buffet style and is $12.
