XENIA — Greene County Career Center was represented at the recent Cavalcade of Customs at the Cincinnati Convention Center as the Auto Collision Repair program won its division thanks to paint and body work on a 1949 Chevrolet panel wagon. Additionally, the class placed third in the pedal car challenge with their GCCC Tow Truck.

Both the senior and junior classes contributed to the panel truck project but Shane McCormick spent six days over winter break painting the vehicle. Juniors and seniors from the Rick Burton’s program along with members of the Automotive Technology program spent an afternoon at the car show as part of a career day sponsored by Cavalcade of Customs.
