DARKE COUNTY - A driver was cited for running a stop sign and causing an injury crash Wednesday afternoon east of Greenville.

According to the Darke County Sheriff’s Office a silver Jeep Grand Cherokee was traveling southbound on Culbertson Road, when the driver failed to yield for traffic at the State Route 571 East intersection. The Jeep entered the path of a westbound white Chevrolet Venture. Both vehicles sustained heavy damage.

The male driver of the Venture was transported to Wayne HealthCare with minor injuries. His juvenile grandson was not seriously injured and was taken from the scene by a family member. The male driver of the Jeep was cited for Failure to Yield.
