FAIRBORN — The community is invited to celebrate the Fairborn Chamber of Commerce 38th annual Fairborn Night at Wright State University on Tuesday, Feb. 25.
The evening will begin with a Mardi Gras-themed chamber chat from 5-6 p.m. in the Nutter Center’s Berry Room. Hosted by WSU President David Hopkins, the popular event will feature special hors d’ourves and attendees will receive a box of Esther Price candy or a bottle of wine made possible through donations by Chamber members along with a “Fairborn Night” shirt. Attendance is free for all Chamber members and their guests.
The networking and socializing Chamber Chat will be tipped off by an appearance from Raider’s Coach Billy Donlon followed with a welcome by President Hopkins and conclude with a “spirit session” by the WSU cheerleaders along with their mascot, Rowdy Raider.
During a timeout in the 7 p.m. game against Valparaiso, presentations from Wright State will be made to Chamber President Pam Gayheart and newly elected Fairborn Mayor Dan Kirkpatrick.
Attendees can purchase the normal $13 game tickets for $10 by indicating at the box office they are a Fairborn resident. The game will mark the regular season home finale for the Raiders men’s basketball team.
