BEAVERCREEK — Wright-Patterson Air Force Base 88th Air Base Wing and Installation Commander Colonel Cassie B. Barlow will be featured speaker at the Beavercreek Republican Women’s Club meeting 7 p.m. March 17 at the Beavercreek Church of the Nazarene, 1850 N. Fairfield Road.
Col. Barlow will be speaking on her experiences in the Air Force from the time she was commissioned in 1988 as a distinguished graduate of Georgetown University to the present. Col. Barlow commands one of the largest air base wings in the Air Force which includes 27,000 employees at WPAFB.
She has served in a variety of positions in the information management, behavioral science and personnel careers fields at squadron, Wing, direct reporting unit, major command, Air Force and combatant command levels. Prior to her arrival at Wright-Patterson she was the Director of Manpower and Personnel headquartered at Peterson AFB in Colorado. She has a Master’s degree in Clinical Psychology, PhD. in Industrial/Organizational Psychology, and two more Masters degrees in Military Operational Art and Science, and National Security. Col. Barlow has been assigned to multiple Air Force Bases, the Pentagon and the Royal Air Force Base, Lakenheath, England. She has also received awards and decorations at all levels.
