Piqua police investigate a crash while firefighters and medics from the Piqua fire department tend to victims of a three-vehicle crash at the intersection of East Ash and Looney Road on Tuesday afternoon. The crash occurred just before 2 p.m. leaving one vehicle, a minivan on its side. Two victims in the minivan had to be extracated by firefighters. A total of four patients were transported to Upper Valley Medical Center for treatment. None of the injuries is thought to be life-threatening. Piqua police are continuing their investigation into the crash. A portion of the intersection was closed for about 45 minutes.
