BEAVERCREEK TOWNSHIP — A three-vehicle accident closed down the westbound lane of US 35 near Trebein Road Thursday morning. The accident, which involved a pickup truck and two tractor-trailers, occurred around 10 a.m. The westbound lane of the highway was closed for less than an hour.

According to Ohio State Highway Patrol Trooper Ronald Dear, a semi-truck and a pickup truck were stopped when a second semi failed to stop in time and “took evasive action to the right and still stuck the right rear of the trailer.” The semi that was struck was pushed into the pickup truck.

Dear said there was one possible injury to the driver of the pickup truck.
