XENIA — Power Equipment Mechanics students Dean McMillion, Zach Mowen and Reigh Spahr placed second in the team category in Ag Mechanics Skills competition at the Ohio FFA District 9 Career Development Event at Ohio Valley CTC. The team advances to the state competition at Ohio State-ATI in Wooster on April 11.


The team represented Greene County Career Center’s FFA chapter. Spahr finished third in the individual rankings while McMillion was eighth and Mowen 21st. Spahr is a senior from Xenia, McMillion is a senior from Greeneview and Mowen is a junior from Fairborn. Mike Spahr serves as the Power Equipment Mechanics teacher and team advisor at Greene County Career Center.
