I write a lot of letters; God sends them to my heart. I want to transfer them to your heart. The heart is a beautiful creation of God, pumping the liquid of life through this vessel that carries the Holy Spirit.
I wonder at my age how many heart beats could be counted. Seventy-six years, one beat after another, sometimes slow and sometimes they’re really beating fast. One thing that we are told is not to overwork the heart because it could be trouble for you if we love life and I do we will take care of the most important part of our body, the life pumper. God looks upon the heart, the vessel that is called Love. Nothing is better than love from the heart.
God is love. He wants us to talk to each other often as it says in Malachi 3:16, “Then they that feared the Lord spoke often to one another and the Lord listened and heard it.” He is our God and He hears us when we talk to each other in love, because He is love. The Bible tells us to sing to each other songs of love and when we do as God says, we have the peace beyond all understanding.
In my devotions this morning while writing this letter, I was in the book of Romans. Wow, just that one book will let you know what we are supposed to do. Love is the way to someone’s heart, that’s why I say let me talk to you “heart to heart.” God has given me a new heart full of Himself and that is love and I’m to give it away. My heart just keeps on overflowing and there is enough love there for whoever wants to receive it.
My love is real. If you know me, you will find out that it is true. If God is love and the heart is a symbol of love and I’m filled up with it, how can I be a phony?
Love is doing, not just saying, and I know something that makes it feel real in the hearts of others. Hold some ones’ hand; look them straight in the eyes, with tears in your eyes, and say, “I love you.”
The trouble with the world is there is not enough heart to heart talk. That is one reason I write love letters from God. He said to talk to each other often, encourage each other, and even says to take each other’s burdens.
Like I said before, the Bible will grab you so tightly that no one can open the lock that it has on you. I talk to a lot of people. People want someone to be true to them, because there is so much misuse in the world. If we are of God and let it be known, our heart will reach out to someone and God will change their lives.
The Bible tells us what we need to hear, and if God is for us, who can be against us. Everything I write is in the Bible, that’s why I can write so much. The Bible, God’s word, is forever. When you talk to someone with a smile, a kind word, and a heart full of the love of God, things happen. I love to write about God, I love to sing heavenly songs to people, I like to laugh out loud, and if you don’t care, I’ll grab you and get happy feet and dance.
Get a heart of love, get a heart transplant and travel through this life in understanding, peace, and love beyond end. Heart to heart, the heart is love and love is God—plain and simple.
