BEAVERCREEK — A two-part workshop designed to give confidence to scout leaders leading nature programming will be hosted by Greene County Parks and Trails. The workshop will be held 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. Thursday, Aug. 7 and 9 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 9. The workshop will be held at the Narrows Reserve Nature Center, 2575 Indian Ripple Road.

The hands-on workshop will include topics such as identifying trees, poison ivy and other plants, as well as basic knot tying, campfire building, cooking over a fire and hiking essentials.
