XENIA — Eva Anderson has been named treasurer at the Greene County Career Center. Anderson comes to the career center after 15 years with the Yellow Springs Exempted School District, including the last decade as assistant treasurer.
“We are blessed to be able to add Eva Anderson to our team,” said Al Nels, president of the school’s board of education. “She brings strong fiscal management skills, excellent interpersonal skills and extensive experience in school finance.”
Anderson holds a bachelor’s degree in accounting and earned post-graduate credit while obtaining her treasurer’s license from Wright State University.
“I’ve heard nothing but positive comments about the career center and look forward to meeting the staff and students,” Anderson said. “I will be evaluating the climate and operations of the treasurer’s office and, over time make whatever positive changes necessary to continue the district’s strong financial position. I believe it is a perfect fit for me.”
Anderson begins her tenure August 1. She is from Montana and lives with her family in Clark County.
Anderson replaces Judy Geers, who left to become treasurer at Graham Local Schools in St. Paris in Champaign County.
