A look at Trump’s turmoil

0

President Trump in all his “wisdom” should leave it alone. If it isn’t broken, don’t fix it. That old and corny platitude would seem to be fully applicable at this moment.

After a great speech to the Congress, by all accounts. this tweet as to former President Obama tapping into communications from Trump Tower prior to and after the election, is a diversion that his administration neither needs or wants.

There is no doubt that clandestine efforts have been on-going to distract and harm the Trump administration. Regardless of the source, as POTUS, Mr. Trump must put all of his energies and vigor toward the effective conduct of government so as to benefit the America people, rather than “taking the bait” each time there is an attack, however dubious, on his presidency.

The American citizens expect more and deserve more than petty “hissy-fits” regardless of the source. This president especially, has a higher calling and a higher duty to fulfil. There is no doubt that a sophisticated, highly structured campaign is operating a full speed to discredit Trump and his ability to govern. His statement about being wire-tapped had better be iron-clad and beyond reproach. If not, it has no standing and noi credibility. Democrats and Republicans must all be held to account for their actions, or lack thereof.

The House and Senate have a higher calling than to try and destroy each other. All oif this internecine warfare further confirms that the swamp must be drained. Congress and President Trump: Do your duty. Serve, not harm America. Should this not occur, then in 2018, let’s bring in a new crew of rookies that will take their responsibilities seriously and literally.

It would seem that the amateurs might do better than the professionals. America deserves better. We have serious problems that need serious attention. Get to work and honor your solemn responsibilities Congress.
