CBC honors hospitals as ‘lifesaving ambassadors’

DAYTON — Community Blood Center (CBC) is pleased to honor Soin Medical Center in Beavercreek and Greene Memorial Hospital in Xenia with LifeSaving Ambassadors Club awards for blood drive excellence in 2013.Soin and Greene Memorial, partner hospitals in the Kettering Health Network, both qualified as Silver members in the LifeSaving Ambassadors Club for each hosting two CBC blood drives in 2013 and exceeding their collections goals. Their combined blood drives totaled 75 registrations, including 22 first-time donors, and resulted in 60 blood donations.
