PIQUA — The Edison State Community College Foundation and Athletics Department are partnering to host the seventh annual Charger 300 Club event at 6 p.m. on Thursday, March 17, in the Robinson Theater at the Piqua Campus. The event is held to help raise funds for the college’s athletic programs.

A reverse raffle will highlight the evening’s events, with one lucky winner walking away with a $10,000 prize. Other cash drawings will be held throughout the night and ticket holders are not required to be present to win.

Tickets are $100 per couple and include all-you-can-eat buffet, beverages, entertainment, and a chance to win. A silent auction will also be held featuring items such as NFL tickets, Dayton Dragon tickets, gift cards, and more.

Funds raised by the event assist Edison State in providing the best experience possible for student-athletes and have previously assisted the teams in post-season travel, uniform expenses, and equipment and facility upgrades.

Edison State’s baseball, basketball, and volleyball teams compete in the Ohio Community College Athletic Conference and are Division II members of the National Junior College Athletic Association. Within the last year, Edison State has also made the club sports of cross country and women’s soccer available to students.
