The 2015-‘16 area girls high school basketball season was a pretty successful one for several teams. Bellbrook, Greeneview and Carroll each advanced to their respective district semifinals before losing in post season action, Cedarville had its winningest season in school history and reached the district finals, and Bellbrook went undefeated in the regular season, won a Southwestern Buckeye League Southwestern Division crown and a Division II district title before falling to eventual state champion Kettering Alter.
