XENIA — An urban chic boutique on wheels will highlight the final First Fridays of 2015.

The popular Joey Eric Fashion Truck will be on North Detroit Street offering clothing, jewelry, bags and accessories.

First Fridays runs 5-9 p.m. Friday, Sept. 4 in downtown Xenia. Among the featured activities is Southbound, which will play southern rock on the courthouse lawn. The Yellow Rockers Square Dancers will perform 6 p.m. at the Food and Entertainment Court, along with DJ Rob Bullen.

The cruise-in returns to North Detroit Street along with the strongmen of ChristStrength Gym.

As in previous months, a walking tour of downtown will take place beginning 6:30 p.m. in front of the courthouse. The caboose at Xenia Station will be open 5-7 p.m.

There will also be a variety of strolling entertainers and various characters including Batman and Robin and the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles.

Food vendors at the Food and Entertainment Court include Cork n’ Bottle, Roosters, Irvin’s Concessions, Hunger Paynes, Dayton Urban BBQ, Sugar Shack, April Jean’s Kettle Corn and Shaved Ice. A sack-lunch style burger, chips, cookie, and drink will be available from AHOP Burger Burn at the cruise-in area. Additional food locations will be the One Bistro food truck in front of its soon-to-be-store front at 87 E. Main St., Ha Ha Pizza, also on East Main Street, Willie’s Sports Bar and Grille on North Detroit Street and Sweets Boutique, 28 E. Second St.

The band Bovine Hobo will be performing 6-10 p.m. at Willie’s.

Many of the downtown businesses will be holding specials during the event as well.
