Greene County News Report

XENIA — The Greene County Sheriff’s Office is looking for help in locating a suspect it has identified as being involved in a recent breaking and entering. According to a release from the law enforcement office, it is searching for Seth Adkins, 43, of Springfield.

The sheriff’s office first reported it was looking for a suspect earlier this month in connection with a break-in at a veterinary office in Xenia Township Sept. 27. The suspect, now identified as Adkins, allegedly stole a cash register from the business’s counter before fleeing the scene.

According to the sheriff’s office, the suspect was identified by a tip from the public and through additional investigation. A warrant for Adkins’s arrest is currently active.

Anyone with information about his whereabouts is asked to contact the Greene County Sheriff’s Office at 937-376-5111.

Adkins has previously served jail time and paid fines for multiple breaking and entering and burglary cases in Greene and Clark counties, according to online court records from both counties.
