JAMESTOWN — Greeneview High School and its food service provider Sodexo will once again recognize area veterans at its annual Veteran’s Day breakfast 7:15 a.m. Thursday, Nov. 12.

During the breakfast, high school students will interview veterans about their service to our country, and the high school show choir, Sensations, will perform a patriotic medley.

Following the breakfast, the school will unveil a nine-foot-tall granite veteran’s memorial near the school’s main entrance. The memorial is the culmination of efforts by students from the class of 2012 who began fundraising three years ago and are finally seeing their dream of recognizing local veterans from all branches of service come to fruition.

Greeneview’s marching band will play the National AnthemThe Star Spangled Banner as a flag presented by Representative Bob Hackett that formerly flew above the State House is raised. The event will end with a 21-gun salute by members of the Jamestown American Legion.
