XENIA — The Greene Medical Foundation welcomed three new board members recently. Lisa Caldwell, Sarah Amend and Dale Hagler now serve on the board in various capacities, helping pave the way for the future of the Foundation.

Lisa Caldwell

Lisa Caldwell describes herself as enthusiastic and is honored to be on the board. She is the owner of Nonnie Waller’s for more than 14 years and now Nonnie Waller’s Parlor.

“As a business owner I am empathetic to health needs of my employees and their families. And I am all too familiar with the impact health has on my business and its health.”

Caldwell has multiple sclerosis and is “personally familiar with how the quality of health care intimately impacts my well-being both physically and emotionally.”

“I am impressed and proud of the progress Greene Memorial Hospital and Soin Medical Center have made and I wanted to be a part of that “move-it-forward” team.”

She has been married for 29 years and is a member of the Xenia Rotary Club. She looks forward to working with her fellow board members and the community as a whole.

Sarah Amend

Sarah Amend is a Carroll High School and Wright State University graduate. She has been employed as a group home counselor, a juvenile probation counselor and is currently a certified insurance counselor with Anderson-Williamson Insurance Agency in Xenia.

Amend has been involved with the Xenia Area Chamber of Commerce creating and chairing the Xenia Area Young Professionals and has been a board member, as well. She also assisted in creating the Women in Business group.

When the board member isn’t working with the chamber she is working on the board of the Xenia Rotary Club and created a memorial fund for Kevin Sonnycalb to raise money for city fireworks and the festival. The young professional looks forward to her work with the Foundation.

Dale Hagler

Apple Country Farm Market owner Dale Hagler is excited to be a part of the Greene Medical Foundation Board. He has owned and operated his own business that offers home-grown fruits and vegetables and a popular seasonal farm market since 2008.

Prior to starting his dream business he worked in the banking industry for 34 years in commercial banking.

He was born and raised in Xenia and attended Wright State University and Miami University studying business administration.

Inspired by his grandparents who loved gardening, Hagler would develop those memorable times into his dream. He is married to Marcie and has two grown children.

Hagler believes his banking experience will provide financial insight as the Foundation moves forward in the future.

“The Foundation’s mission is critical to improving the quality of life for residents of Greene County,” said Halger.
